- In a small saucepan over a medium heat add the Lima beans and pear. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in another small saucepan over low heat, add the raspberries, chia seeds and water.
- Let simmer over low heat for 5 minutes until the berries are soft and the mixture resembles jam.
- Remove the Lima bean mixture from heat and pour into a blender or food processor. Add the oil or butter and cinnamon then blend until smooth.
- Spoon the Lima bean mixture into your baby's bowl and place a dollop of the chia jam on top. Enjoy!
Notes
Age appropriate: From 6 months or when your baby starts solids. This recipe does not contain any allergen foods if you opt for using olive oil instead of butter.
